Shadow of the Wolf Puppet - short film

Over a decade ago I shot this short fairytale and fell in love with the process. My very rudimentary understanding of the process…. But that wouldn’t have happened without the help and goodwill of some fantastic people. I’m posting this here in remembrance of John Bennett the man who opened up his home, forest, pasture, and barn locations while simultaneously wrangling actors and animals, because being awesome was who he was. And as tribute to Micah Westgate who’s recent passing has shaken all of us who knew him. Micah was not a trained actor as far as I know but he could become the Owl instantly, with more depth than I could capture. Truly a man of many talents. Rest in Peace.

Skargoz lurks (mostly from the TV) in this mini-epic! I really wanted to shoot something with actors and dialogue and an actual script. Again I got lucky with lots of talented help.
